  Dr. Wang moved to Miami to join the faculty of the University of Miami in 2015. Prior to that, she was a tenured Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Since then, she has successfully led several NIH sponsored projects, utilizing data science approaches to improve our understanding of complex diseases.

  Dr. Wang's research is focused on developing and applying innovative computational models to advance precision medicine in dementia and cancers. Her recent work includes developing methods and tools for analyzing DNA methylation data, integrative analysis of large heterogeneous datasets, and identifying methylation-based biomarkers.
